These are pictures of our new Model 60 Biodiesel Processor.  12 Gallons of methanol is placed in the small tank.  About 1200 grams of Sodium Hydroxide is added and the tank is agitated to make Sodium Methoxide.  48 gallons of used vegetable oil is placed in the large tank and then heated to 50 to 55 degrees Centigrade.  The oil is then circulated and the Sodium Methoxide is drawn in to the oil through a small tube.  The oil and Methoxide are mixed for about an hour and the allowed to stand overnight.  There is then about 48 gallons of biodiesel with 12 gallons of glycerin below.  The glycerin is drained off and used as hand soap and the biodiesel and the biodiesel can be used in the place of diesel fuel after it is washed and filtered.
